Colburn was party to the wrongful dethronement of Queen Liliuokalani in 1893.The year of the article was 1907. - notice that the history of King Lunalilo printed in 1899 shows a different story from the version printed above......the importance of this article is that 500 Hawaiians were documented lepers and the treasonous persons were the same characters who helped to dethrone Queen Liliuokalani in 1893. Their names were: Charles Stirling, Charles R. Bishop, E.O. Hall, and A.F. Judd.
In this 1900 newspaper, King Lunalilo was documented as "the last of the Kamehameha's":

- In this 1902 article, the claim that the 'legislators elected King Lunalilo' is documented...........but wait a minute, this is yet another story that changed from the original story posted above..............hmmmmm :
also notice in the article below: King Lunalilo was 'the highest chief'; "negotiations were pending for the grant of the United States of the exclusive right for the use of Pearl Harbor" is documented.Appears that the story, the history was being 'fine- tuned' and the 'truth' becomes the 'untruth' over time.... hmmm..........
